Since then, I’ve immersed myself in this innovative approach, picking up a trick or two along the way. I also believe that good design doesn’t need to be bespoke. In fact, designs refined through an iterative process can make better use of space and money. Much like a car—why not keep the reliable engine but experiment with the paint? Modular design offers the flexibility to do just that.
